**WORK IN PROG.** Initiation - Lioness TG Xform

***UPDATED: Tweaked the transformation at various points to smooth it out and added two more camera angles focusing on the transformation of the torso and lower legs.

This is an older sequence with a few recent tweaks. It still needs major work in adding props, the tail, texture changes, and further refinements to the animation. I thought I’d put it out there as is for now though, because it’s pretty unique among the sequences I've done.

The concept:

An anthropologist working in a remote part of Africa saves a village chieftain’s daughter from a lion attack and then befriends her.  She belongs to a small, little-known tribe of hunter-gatherers.  He gets permission from the village elders to live among the people to document their cultural practices.  He notes that the chieftain is mostly a figurehead.  Apart from himself, the chieftain is the only adult man in the village, so the women do the hunting and make most of the day-to-day decisions. They apparently practice a form of polygamy and communal child-rearing.  This arrangement seems to work for the tribe, because as far as he can tell, all needs are provided for—including his own.   

Later on, when the anthropologist is planning to leave to write up his notes and research, he’s offered the unexpected honor of being initiated into the tribe.  Not wanting to insult his friends after all the hospitality he was shown, and thinking that his initiation will be merely ceremonial—not to mention great material for his research—he agrees.  But the “initiation” turns out to be quite a bit more involved than he ever could have foreseen.
